The Architecture and Design Museum > Los Angeles has announced a series of four salons to take place at iconic mid-century homes across the city.

The first, on February 21st will be held at the dramatic Sheats-Goldstein Residence.

Built into a sandstone hillside near the Beverly Hills border, it provides the best example of the work of architect John Lautner. He designed not only the house, but the interiors, windows, lighting, rugs, and furniture.

Exclusive tours of the house and property will be offered as well as cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The guest speaker will be Frank Escher of Escher Gunewardena Architecture, who served from 1995 to 2007 as the Administrator for the Lautner Archive, now at the Getty Research Institute.
