Last chance this weekend to experience something special at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House in West Hollywood.

The Pacific Standard Time Performance and Public Arts Festival initiated by The Getty Center is a creative collaboration involving over sixty museums and cultural institutions across Southern California, including Pasadena Museum of California Art, Norton Simon, LACMA, and the Watts Towers Arts Center.

Of particular interest to us at the MAK Center is Sympathetic Seeing: Esther McCoy and the Heart of American Modernist Architecture and Design. Through photographs, drawings, texts, videos, and audio interviews, Sympathetic Seeing highlights the extraordinary range and importance of Esther McCoy's work. She is considered one the premiere scholars of California modernist architecture.
