7 Years Later - Benedict Canyon 2023
It’s always fun to see the evolution of our projects, as they change hands with new ownership. Our original client for Benedict Canyon was from the sports world, and he wanted an open-plan house for entertaining, that would also include a photography studio and gallery space for displaying his large scale artworks.
Creating Serenity
The desert is open space and long views, but also the close-up, detailed perfection of the cactus flower. It is nature’s serene minimalism. This is the setting for our project inside the gated community of The Vintage in Indian Wells, California.
Creating Laurel Way
Seeing is believing, and apparently our soon-to-be client, Richard, became a believer after watching our house on Summit Drive go up.
Remodel for Resale Value
Part of this house’s glamorous past in the famed Hills includes its previous ownership by actor Richard Gere.
Hopen Home Theater Design Details
For those not ready to head to bed, the Hopen house offers a comfortable and cozy theater for watching a movie with friends.

Our Hollywood Hills modern on the “bird” streets also makes use of the acrylic pool windows seen at Summit.
